- What could you not live without? Meaning were there things that you used all the time?
- What was helpful in putting the baby to sleep? play?
- What do you think was a big waste of money/time?

Well mine wasn't the typical situation...but I would definitely say you can never have enough burp cloths/cloth diapers...b/c babies are ALWAYS spitting up
And monitors are nice, but I have heard A LOT of moms think video monitors are a waste of $$.
I loved my cradle swing, Elizabeth loved to sleep in that when she was younger, now she just hits the crib with some music (either the fisher price aquariam or her glo worm that lights up and plays music)
I am not sure if there is a board closer to you, but www.frederickmommies.com is a great wealth of knowledge!!! go there
I loved the floor activity mats; Sarah really loved the turtle one with water and glitter in it that we had for her, Julia had a gym one with things that dangled above her which is great to. It helps them like tummy time a little more.
The front carrier is great; since your baby is going to be a winter baby you probably wont be doing alot of walking outside but you could walk around the mall with baby. I really liked that and it helped Sarah get to sleep when she was little and the hands free thing is great.
The swing was a must have for Sarah but Julia wasn't into it as much so maybe you could barrow one from a friend first just to try it out.
Bassinet to sleep by you until baby is ready to slleep alone. The sleep positioner thing didn't really work for my girls they were way to active for those. I enjoyed having a changing table but half the time I was changing them where ever I was so it's not really a must have but it is nice to have everything in one area.
If your baby doesn't like the swing she or he might like one of those vibrating chairs with music; Julia loved that, mobiles, little lovies; I like the ones that clip on to stuff so they don't lose them. Julia loved the butterfly one with the lights that you got her.
I guess that's about all I can come up with for now. I can't wait to see your baby registry.
