Attack of the Killer Tomatos

Last night was horrible. I got hit with morning sickness like you would not believe. I am still feeling it today but I am trying to hold on as long as I can so I don't exaust all of my leave.

I woke up so many times last night with really bad nausea and then I had to go to the bathroom so many times I thought I was going to explode. Now I am at work trying to survive. It was bad yesterday and everything I would eat made it way worse so now I am trying to take it really easy on food.

All I have to say is I am going to lay off that heavy chipotle for a while because it did not go over too well neither did my dad's famous peanut butter & butter toast. And then I tried some noodles and they just pushed me over the edge.

Try saltines and ginger ale. I got sick in the mornings at work and ate those. Some of my cousins swear sour foods help too. One lived on sweet tarts, but be careful of all the sugar. Eating actually seemed to make me feel better, I guess that is why I gained so much my first trimester!! In a few short weeks you will be in the 2nd trimester and hopefully feeling a ton better!

Cereal is always good to eat. Also, try not to eat late at night. This is a good sign. The baby is taking over and settling in nicely. Maybe some other more recent moms can give you advice.

Don't buy things in bulk!

Anything that tasted good one day made me want to be sick for the next several weeks. Hence the case of lemon-lime seltzer and the freezer full of fudgicles. I ate 3 sleeves of Saltines and then decided I hate them.

I have had luck with dry multi-grain toast, dry roasted peanuts, and macaroni and cheese from the box. Also, tomato sauce is bad, but pesto seems to go down well. Vitamin Water and Emergen-C have also been good to me.

Luckily, the baby doesn't need too many nutrients from you yet, so it's not so terrible if you can't eat all your veggies.

Did you hear I'm pregnant? Eleven weeks tomorrow. I'm counting the days until the first trimester ends!

On Friday, I did try Macaroni & cheese and it turned out to be exactly what peanut ordered!

Kraft saves the day again.
